Kalergi, thanks to his close contacts with all European aristocrats and politicians, due to the relationships of his nobleman-diplomat father, and by moving behind the scenes, away from the glare of publicity, he managed to attract the most important heads of state to his plan , making them supporters and collaborators for the "project of European integration".

In 1922 he founded the "Pan-European" movement in Vienna, which aimed to create a New World Order, based on a federation of nations led by the United States. The Lost Land of Lyonesse – Legendary City on the Bottom of the Sea
In Arthurian legend, Lyonesse is the home country of Tristan, from the legendary story of Tristan and Iseult.  The mythical land of Lyonesse is now referred to as the “Lost Land of Lyonesse,” as it is ultimately said to have sunk into the sea. However, the legendary tale of Tristan and Iseult shows that Lyonesse is known for more than sinking into the ocean, and that it had a legendary presence while it remained above ground. While Lyonesse is mostly referred to in stories of legend and myth, there is some belief that it represents a very real city that sunk into the sea many years ago. With such a legendary location, it can be difficult to ascertain where the legend ends and reality begins.
The story of Lyonesse most logically begins with Tristan and Iseult. The story of Tristan and Iseult is a tragic story of love and loss. It is an Arthurian tale, inspired by Celtic legend. It is said that the story was possibly the inspiration for the romance of Lancelot and Guinevere, as both stories push the boundaries of love, family, loyalty, adultery, and betrayal. While the story of Tristan and Iseult can vary based upon who is telling it, the plot follows a common theme. Tristan, a young boy from Lyonesse who has been orphaned, it taken in by his uncle, King Mark of Cornwall, which borders Lyonesse.
As the years pass by, Tristan is very loyal to his uncle, as he raised him as his own son. When Tristan is grown, Mark sends him to Ireland to retrieve the fair maiden Iseult and bring her to Cornwall, as she and King Mark are set to marry. Tristan loyally follows his uncle’s orders, and journeys to Ireland.  On the return trip from Ireland, however, the pair are exposed to a love potion and fall madly in love with one another. Iseult eventually arrives in Cornwall and marries King Mark, but the love potion is very powerful, and Tristan and Iseult cannot deny their love for one another. Tristan and Iseult both love King Mark, but their love for one another is stronger. Eventually the pair is discovered and King Mark is devastated. While Tristan should be sent immediately to the gallows for adultery, King Mark harbors an affection for him, as his nephew. King Mark agrees to forgive Tristan, on the condition that Tristan return Iseult to him. Tristan does so, and he and King Mark make amends.

In most variations, the sinking of Lyonesse occurs well after the stories of Tristan, Iseult, and King Mark take place. The sinking itself is not mentioned in Arthurian legend, although some say that Lyonesse sunk when Tristan left for King Mark’s court.  In Lord Tennyson's epic Idylls of the King, Lyonesse is the location where Arthur and Mordred fought their final battle. One passage foreshadows Lyonesse’s sinking:

Then rose the King and moved his host by night
And ever pushed Sir Mordred, league by league,
Back to the sunset bound of Lyonesse -
A land of old upheaven from the abyss
By fire, to sink into the abyss again;
Where fragments of forgotten peoples dwelt,
And the long mountains ended in a coast
Of ever-shifting sand, and far away
The phantom circle of a moaning sea.

There are some variations in the legends that surround the sinking of the land. Prior to its sinking, Lyonesse would have been quite large, containing one hundred and forty villages and churches. Lyonesse is said to have disappeared on November 11, 1099 (although some tales use the year 1089, and some date back to the 6^th century). Very suddenly the land was flooded by the sea. Entire village were swallowed, and the people and animals of the area drowned. Once it was covered in water, the land never reemerged. While the Arthurian tales are legendary, there is some belief that Lyonesse was once a very real place attached to the Scilly Isles in Cornwall, England. Evidence shows that sea levels were considerably lower in the past, so it is very possible that an area that once contained a human settlement above-ground is now beneath the sea level.
It is said that all that remains of Lyonesse is today’s still-standing island of Scilly. Fisherman near the Scilly Isles tell tales of retrieving pieces of buildings and other structures from their fishing nets. These stories have never been substantiated, and are viewed by some as tall tales. They also say they can see remnants of a forest when the sea is at low tide. On a more ghostly and spiritual level, some claim to hear the church bells of Lyonesse ringing during stormy times. As the legends of Lyonesse continue in today’s story-telling, it also remains a part of modern English literature. In 1922, Walter de la Mare wrote:

In sea-cold Lyonesse,
When the Sabbath eve shafts down
On the roofs, walls, belfries
Of the foundered town,
The Nereids pluck their lyres
Where the green translucency beats,
And with motionless eyes at gaze
Make ministrely in the streets./
And the ocean water stirs

And the unearthly lovely weep,

Caged in his stone-ribbed side.

It is no surprise that the story of the sinking city of Lyonesse has come forth with many variations throughout the years. The image of a large, functioning city inhabited by thousands of people suddenly sinking into the sea, never to emerge again invokes an image that is both awesome and horrifying. From the legendary tales of Tristan and Iseult, to Arthur’s final battle with Mordred, to the stories of a city being swallowed by the sea, the tales of Lyonesse invoke a vast array of thoughts and emotions by those who wish to know more about this legendary city, and who like to believe that it’s legendary tales are founded upon a very real lost city.

Rama is the evidence of ancient Celtics, Druids, perhaps Atlantis heritage in Piedmont.

Another example of the survival of Celtic culture in these valleys is the celebration of the "Rite of the Tree" practiced, according to the account of Families Celtic Lanzo, from the Celtic population of Rama in the area of ​​the Mandria Regional Park, where today is the large Cromlech Dreamland. In the Lanzo we have many examples of the celebration of the ancient ritual of the Maypole, even if at times it has been transformed in the celebrations of the festivals of the country with the well-known "greasy pole".

The sacred tree and the secret history of "Bela Rosin"

Secondo il testimone, la Bela Rosin era dedita dalla sua infanzia a studi e a pratiche di natura “esoterica” e proprio questo l’aveva aiutata ad interessare e ad affascinare il Re.

La Bela Rosin, o Rosa Vercellana, era nata a Nizza Marittima, in Francia, in un ambiente di "masche", le sacerdotesse della sopravvissuta Antica religione, e dove era stata forte la presenza della cultura celtica. Va ricordato come in zona era esistita sino agli anni ’70 una gigantesca piramide alta circa 50 metri, poi abbattuta per lasciare posto ad uno svincolo autostradale.

La città in cui la Bela Rosin era vissuta da giovane, Moncalvo, vicino a Crescentino in Piemonte, era anch’essa una zona dove c'era una forte presenza della cosiddetta “stregoneria” erede delle antiche tradizioni celtiche. Non va dimenticato che proprio in queste zone c'era stata una importante presenza dei Catari, cancellati dalla Storia a seguito di cruente repressioni da parte della Chiesa del tempo.

Secondo il nostro testimone la Bela Rosin condivideva i suoi interessi con vari studiosi dell’occulto e altre figure del mondo massonico dell’epoca. Interessi che venivano dibattuti con letture durante gli incontri nel suo salotto privato, attuati nella residenza della Mandria, dove si avvicendavano personaggi come il Conte Camillo Benso di Cavour, massone ed esoterista, che a sua volta era amico di Costantino Nigra, ritenuto dalle voci del tempo un druido e comunque un sostenitore della cultura celtica. Incontri in cui la Bela Rosin riuniva ogni genere di personaggi particolari con cui probabilmente venivano sviluppati discorsi di varia filosofia.

Il re Vittorio Emanuele II, appagato dal sincero affetto che divideva con la Bela Rosin, la lasciava fare senza preoccuparsi troppo delle sue frequentazioni e dei suoi interessi, occupato nelle sue lunghe giornate di caccia con nobili e amici a tessere avventure amorose di ogni genere.

Avvicinata dai “vecchi” delle Famiglie celtiche del tempo la Bela Rosin non ebbe quindi difficoltà a concedere il permesso di entrare liberamente nella zona nord del parco reale per eseguire i loro riti a cui, secondo i due testimoni, partecipò anche lei in più occasioni.

E proprio per la sua benevolenza e i suoi interessi sembra che venisse accolta in una delle Famiglie di Lanzo e riconosciuta nella qualità di aspirante druidessa.

Dopo la morte del re Vittorio Emanuele II, avvenuta il 9 gennaio 1878, la Bela Rosin non abitò più alla Mandria e non ebbe modo di rinnovare il suo permesso di accesso. Così accadde che le Famiglie celtiche delle Valli di Lanzo non ebbero più la possibilità di entrare nell’antico luogo sacro per celebrare i loro riti e dovettero definitivamente abbandonarlo.

Il luogo rimase quindi deserto e anonimo, parte della foresta rimasta venne abbattuta
per far posto a campi coltivati e del luogo sacro rimase memoria solamente nelle tradizioni delle Famiglie celtiche del luogo.

Il caso volle che secoli più tardi venne l’idea, inconsapevolmente, di realizzare il Cromlech di Dreamland nella stessa zona. Solo la narrazione fortuita degli Anziani della Famiglia celtica riportò in luce l’antica memoria storica.

Per curiosità, circa la complessa e non ancora svelata figura della Bela Rosin si può ancora aggiungere doverosamente che probabilmente proprio per la sua particolare personalità, alla sua morte, avvenuta nel 1885, i suoi figli fecero erigere un emblematico Mausoleo in Torino in cui posare le sue spoglie. Si dice avessero fatto realizzare quest’opera monumentale per una rivalsa su Casa Savoia che aveva vietato espressamente che la loro madre venisse sepolta al Pantheon di Roma, insieme a Vittorio Emanuele II, poiché non era mai stata elevata al rango di Regina.

A osservare bene le caratteristiche dell’architettura neoclassica del Mausoleo si può notare come mostri evidenti riferimenti esoterici che potrebbero essere riferiti alla vita vissuta della Bela Rosin.

Alcuni ricercatori sostengono che il Mausoleo fosse stato realizzato per rappresentare in dimensioni ridotte il Pantheon di Roma, sede delle statue di tutti gli dei delle terre conquistate dall’Impero romano, come simbolo della sua ecletticità laica, aperta ad una filosofia senza confini. E che ricordasse volutamente la chiesa della Gran Madre di Torino, dove si dice sia custodito il Graal, per simboleggiare lo spirito della sua conoscenza filosofica.

Il Mausoleo in effetti, nel tempo, si è rivelato inevitabilmente come un preciso simbolo esoterico rispondente al pensiero laico della Bela Rosin, anche se le consuetudini sociali e la riservatezza dei suoi discendenti lo hanno sempre negato e contestato.

Rimane tuttavia ancora oggi il punto di incontro dei vari gruppi di esoteristi torinesi che lo considerano un luogo magico e denso di significati simbolici e profondamente spirituali.

Its construction is in fact gone far beyond the intention of making it an event that was to give visibility to the ancient culture of the Celts, coming to catalyze a number of situations that have opened a gash on the ancient history of the Celts of the Valli di Lanzo.
